Latchbolt is drawn by key from either side, and by lever handle from inside. Door is automatically deadlocked when closed, whilst the snib can be used to hold the bolt back when it nees to be left ajar. The operating handle on the inside can be secured by key from either side.Can be modofoed for use as a fire escape lock by removing the facility to lock the handle. Handed. Supplied with 2 keys. Can be master keyed or keyed alike with other detainer mortice locks.
