E-Commerce General Conditions of Sale

1.This site is intended for sales within mainland England, Wales and Scotland, thus all prices include VAT at the rate of 20% (VAT No: 506 0908 66).

2.Carriage prices are to the UK mainland only, and are shown as extra at the time of final purchase. We welcome visits to our premises by customers local to us. However purchases made in the shop(s) will be charged at the delivered price as shown on our web-site which in any case will be cheaper than the retail prices as displayed in the shop(s).

3.Delivery is restricted to the UK. Delivery must be to the address at which your debit/credit card is registered. All deliveries must be signed for and delivery dockets should be retained.

4.We make no claims regarding the suitability of a product for any specific application. The Buyer should satisfy himself as to the suitability of all goods ordered, for the purpose for which they are required, and if in doubt he should contact the Company's Helpline for advice before ordering.

5.RETURNS POLICY We operate a 'No quibble' guarantee, and we will accept goods featured on this web-site for refund or exchange within 7 days of delivery,subject to them being unused, undamaged and in their original packing.In the event of mis-order by the customer the refund will exclude the cost of the carriage. Where extra keys have been ordered with the lock(s), refund of the cost of these keys is entirely at the discretion of the management.

6.Goods will normally be despatched within 3 working days of receipt of the order and credit/debit card authorisation in the case of locks, and 7/10 working days in the case of safes. Working days are Monday to Friday and exclude Bank Holidays. (Christmas and New Year period excluded owing to closure of our suppliers.We resume our delivery committment during the first week of the New Year.)Although we will do everything we can to meet the quoted delivery times, these may be affected by factors beyond our control and therefore cannot be guaranteed. In the event of unavailability for whatever reason, we will advise you of this fact be e-mail, with an indication of the anticipated delivery date. If we are unable to supply the goods described on the site, we reserve the right to supply a replacement of similar or better specification.

7.Time will not be the essence.

8.We recommend that where an insurance company stipulates that a safe has to have a certain 'Cash Cover' up to a specific value, you consult them for their approval regarding the particular model you intend purchasing, before placing the order. Manufacturers 'Cash Cover' ratings are given for guidance only, and given in good faith as such.

9.Fire safes are resistant to fire for a limited period of time, but in no way should they be taken as being fire proof. We quote manufacturers claims to test procedures in good faith and without responsibility.

10.As regards locks in general and safes in particular, where the goods are designed to reduce the risks of loss or damage, the Company does not warrant that they may not be neutralised, circumvented or otherwise rendered ineffective, and in such event no liability shall attach to the Company in respect of any loss or damage sustained by the Buyer howsoever caused (including consequential loss).

11.Prices displayed are believed to be correct. If at the time an order is made it is found that the price is incorrect for any reason, you will be notified and given the opportunity to cancel.

13. Privacy policy - (In accordance with the Privacy & Electronic Communications Act passed into law 11 Dec 03) - We do not send random marketing emails to personal email addresses (spam).
